Grace Steele Bailey. 87 of Pensacola, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2009.
She was born in Brewton, Alabama on August 10, 1922. Grace was a long time of Pensacola. She was retired from the Escambia County School System. Grace was a member of Richards Memorial United Methodist Church. She was active in the Daughter of the Nile Shimron Temple number 133 and PJC Seniors.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband, David Bailey, Son, William Byron Bailey and Dorothy Fay Kyser.
Loved ones left behind, Two daughters; Carolyn B Voight (Donald) and Mary F. Bailey both of Pensacola. Daughter-In-law; DeAndrea Steele of Mount Carmel, IL. One Brother; John D. Steele of Pensacola and two sisters; Violet Cox of Pensacola and Nancy Wilson of Milton. Ten Grandchildren and Nine great grandchildren. Extended family Bambi Lockman of Tallahassee, Florida and Linda Irby of Pace, FL.
Blessed and loved by all her love ones at the Haven.
Visitation will be Monday, September 7, 2009 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 12 P.M., Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home with Reverend Winston Jay officiating.
Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to, Haven Of Our Lady of Peace, 1900 Summit Blvd. Pensacola, Florida 32503. Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
