John David Steele, 77, of Pensacola FL passed away on September 21, 2014. He was a beloved husband to his wife of 58 years, a father, and a "PAW-PAW". John retired from Armstrong World Industries after 45 years. He was also an usher at Brownsville Assembly of God. John is survived by his wife, Linda Steele; daughter, Vicki S. Suarez; son, Rev. David R. "Randy" Steele; sister, Violet (Sid) Cox; grandchildren, Jonathan Gabriel Suarez, David Michael (Marissa) Suarez, David H. Samuel Steele, Thomas Zachary Suarez, Susanna Elisabeth Steele; soon to be the great-grandpaw of Anthony Michael Suarez; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends; special friend and buddy, Vic Cropper; lifelong friends, Skip and Janet Monti; and special friend, Victor Suarez.He was preceded in death by his oldest son, John Ray Steele. A visitation for friends and family will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 11:00 until the service begins at 12:00 p.m. at Brownsville Assembly of God, Pensacola, with Dr. Evon Horton officiating.
