Mrs. Cerkoney was born Judith Ann Jevning on July 21, 1940, in Halstad, Minn. She moved to Eugene in 1969 and worked for Sacred Heart Church. She was a member of the Central Lutheran Church in Eugene. She lived in Portland for the past four years and worked as an accounts and collections representative for the Portland Clinic. In 1987, she married Nick Cerkoney; he died in 1997.
Survivors include her son, Danne Thomas Balek; daughters, Nancy Glass and Chrisanna Whitener; mother, Fylies Roadhouse; sister, Sandra Vanni; stepbrothers, Richard Roadhouse and Gary Roadhouse; stepsisters, Patti Jones and Kathy Holum; and five grandchildren. No service. Arrangements by Rose City.
