Mrs. Mary E. Boelling, 79, of 1311 Robin street, Venice, died this morning at the Alton State Hospital, where she had been a patient for two weeks.
A resident in Venice for 60 years, Mrs. Boelling is survived by six children, Mrs. Katherine Kinder, Mrs. Margaret Achor, Otto, William, Charles, and Ernst Boelling, all of Venice; 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; one brother Harry Spray of Granite City, and two half-brothers, Andrew and Christ Hoffman also of Granite City.
Announcement of the time and place of funeral services is made in the obituary column of today's issue.

MARY E BOELLING, 1311 Robin street, Venice. Entered into rest Monday, February 4, 1946, at 5:30 a.m. at Alton State Hospital. Dear mother of Mrs. Katherine Kinder, Mrs. Margaret Achor, Otto, William, Charles and Ernest Boelling; dear sister of Harry Spray, Andrew and Christ Hoffman; dear grandmother and great grandmother.
Her remains will lie in state at the Lahey Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 7, at 2 p.m. interment St. John's Cemetery.
