DECATUR-Mrs. Mattie Lou Braswell, 86, of Route 5, Hartselle, died Thursday at her residence. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.T. Copeland and the Rev. Jim Wilson officiating.
Burial was to be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Boyd Braswell and Walker Braswell, both of Decatur; five daughters, Mrs. Lois Crowe of Huntsville, Mrs. John Robinson Jr. of Trinity, Mrs. J.W. Thompson, Mrs. Grady Ratliff and Mrs. Harold Lane, all of Hartselle; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Herbert of Hartselle and Mrs. Ed Wallace of Decatur; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
