OBITUARY

Miss Ida Anshutz was born at Oriole, November 1, 1875, where she went to school at the Oriole school house. She was united in marriage to George S. McMurray, February 20, 1894, to this union was born twelve children, all of them surviving her. She was sick only a few days and passed away August 29, 1914. Her age at death was 38 years, 9 months and a few days. She lived all of her days in the school district where she died with the exception of about two years, when she and her family lived at Shelton, Nebraska. The funeral services were held at the Oriole school house conducted by Rev. Grimes, and all that was earthy of our friend was laid to rest in the Oriole cemetery.
