The Rev. A.J. Arnold

The Rev. A. J. Arnold died suddenly yesterday morning at about eight o'clock of heart disease at his home, no. 196 Conklin Avenue. Mr. Arnold was a local preacher in the Wyoming Conference and was well known among Methodists not only in the City, but throughout the vicinity.
He had worked on his famer near the City a part of the day previous to his frustration, which occurred at about eleven o'clock on Monday night. He fell to the floor and despite all that could be done, died ____ hours later.
Mr. Arnold would have been sixty nine years of age in October. For twenty-four years, he has lived most of the time in this City and has been an earnest worker in the High Street M.E. Church. He has been in poor health for five years.
Those who survive are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Mary J. Coleman; and Mrs. Grace D. Clark; and one brother, the Rev. C.V. Arnold. The funeral will be held from his house on Monday afternoon at two o'clock.
