Died, June 14, at the home of his parents, Thomas James Barkley, aged 24 years, 7 months and 16 days.
The funeral services were held in the Presbyterian Church at Dillsboro last Saturday, by Rev. J.A. Marham, after which the remains were placed in the vault.
The deceased leaves father and mother, one sister, four brothers and a large circle of friends and neighbors to mourn their loss.
