MRS. GERTIE MANZELLA LUCAS, '62 N. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., died at the Western Maryland State Hospital Saturday morning, aged 78.
Born in Brunswick, Md., she was a daughter of the late Theopolus and Mary (Harrison) Barger.
Surviving are a son, Louis Roberts, Hagerstown; daughter, Mrs. Lester Richards, Williamsport; brothers, Haymore Barger, Hagerstown; John Barger, Hagerstown; James Barger, Resh Road, Hagerstown; Theodore Barger, Cavetown; sisters, Mrs. Louise Shaw, Hagerstown; Mrs. Emmie Hare, Cumberland; Mrs. Mary Mulligan, Cocoa, Fla.; step-children, Roy Lucas, Ned Lucas, Lewis Lucas, Mrs. Rose Feigley, all of Hagerstown; Mrs. Ann Pulisky, Waynesboro.
Funeral services were held in Hagerstown, this afternoon, the Rev. Charles A. Michael officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
