MRS. MARY ADA MULLIGAN, wife of Daniel F. Mulligan Sr., died at her home, 208 Willard St., Sunday at 3 am, aged 66.


She was born and reared in Weverton, Md., daughter of Theophilus and Mary (Harrison) Barger.


She was a member of the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church.


He son, Pfc Vernon G. Mulligan, was one of the first Korean War dead returned to this city for re-burial. He was killed in Korea on August 14, 1950, and was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery with full military honors on September 3, 1951, exactly two years ago from his mother's burial date.


Besides her husband, she is survived by: daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Henson, Mrs. Mildred Powell and Mrs. Nora Lee Cramer, all of this city; sons, Daniel Jr., and George D., at home; Millard and Charles E., both of this city; and Franklin L., Hardscrabble; sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Lucas, Mrs. Beatrice Myers and Mrs. Louise Shaw, all of this city; Mrs. May Mulligan, Baltimore; and Mrs. Emma Harr, Cumberland; brothers, John F. Haymore, and Henry Barger, all of this city; and 19 grandchildren.


Requiem Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Patrick E. Coyne Thursday at 10 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Suter Funeral Home.
