Doctor John F. Hyde was born in Newton, Iowa, on January 26, 1885. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Nebraska in 1905. He graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical College in 1907. He practiced continuously from 1907 to the day of his death. He was surgeon to the Union Pacific Railroad from 1907 to 1921.
He was a member of the American Medical Association, the Nebraska State Medical Society, The Omaha-Douglas County Medical Society, and the National Society of General Practice. He was chief of Staff of the Methodist Hospital in 1945.
Dr. Hyde has served his community as a physician and surgeon faithfully and well.
