Died Thursday morning July 17, 1913 in this city, Mrs. Mary H. Wilks. She had been ill for some weeks, but not dangerously so till but a short time previous of her demise and death came to her rather suddenly.
Funeral services were conducted Friday morning at the Catholic Church followed by interment in the Little Prairie Cemetery.
Mary H. Cassidy was born at Louisville, Ky., June 10, 1869, and was forty-four years, one month and seven days old at the time of her death.
She removed to this county, with her parents in August, 1888 and was united in marriage to W.W. Wilks, in July 1890. Of this union, there survive two sons, Dustin and Robert, both residents of this city.
Mrs. Wilks is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Katie Ahern of this city and Mrs. E.L. Locher of Alameda, Calif. She was an earnest, consistent and conscientious Christian and her death is greatly regretted by many relatives and friends.
