Excerpt -- Died on Oct 31st, at 7:30 a.m., at his home near Terra Alta, Mr. Christian Bolyard, aged about 53 years. The deceased had been very ill for over six months of heart disease.
Died of Typhoid Pneumonia contracted while in line of duty during civil war. Death register states cause of death as dropsy.
