William A. Scott, 88, Indianapolis, died May 7. He worked for the Naval Avionics Center, retiring in 1973. He was a member of American Legion Post 495 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 261. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Services: 10 a.m. May 10 in the Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, with calling from 2 to 8 p.m. May 9. Survivors: children Suzanne Dayton, Penny Bloemker, David A. Scott; five grandchildren,; four great-grandchildren.
