Blaisdell was well like her by his many friends and acquaintances, who had always found him a straight-forward and honest character to deal with. They tell of many acts of kindness which he performed for fiends in a quiet and unostentatious way. It is even said that he was too kind hearted for his own good, in a business way.
Blasisdell was about 58 years of age at the time of his death. He is survived by an invalid wife and several relatives in the East.
