Mrs. Dalton was born at Rockville, February 5, 1865, the daughter of John and Clearinda Phillips Langston. She was an active L. D. S. church worker, having been president of the M. I. A. for several years and president of the Relief society for 12 years. She was also an instructor in the Sunday school.
She was married to Newman Brown April 4, 1880. A baby girl was born to them the following September 1881. Soon after this she left her husband and lived with her parents. She was married to Orley Dalton in 1884, and is survived by seven sons and daughters, Mrs. Alice Brown Russell, Mrs. Letitia Henderson, Mrs. Myrtle Hirschi, Mae and Irving Dalton, of Rockville; Lester Dalton, Santa
