Alma Mae Wetsel Glover of Harrisonburg, died Sunday, February 2, 1997, in Harrisonburg. She had been in ill health for the past year.

She was one of 14 children and was born June 30, 1909, at Port Republic and was the daughter of the late Daniel McCellan Wetsel and Lydia Wampler Wetsel.

Mrs. Glover had lived her life in Harrisonburg and was an active member of the First Church of the Brethren in Harrisonburg. She attended Main Street School and enjoyed knitting, sewing and crafts. She had worked for Smith-Hayden Cleaners and retired as manager of the James Madison University Bookstore.

On April 30, 1944, she married Henry Davis Glover, who died May 15, 1955.

Surviving are a sister, Ruth Virginia Sencindiver of Harrisonburg; special nephew and wife. Page W. Sencindiver and Katherine; special great nephew and wife, Sam Sencindiver and Dee Dee, special great niece and her husband, Pain Lohr and Lester, and special great-great-niece, Ashley Lohr.

Dr. J.D. Glick will conduct a memorial service 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon from the First Church of the Brethren in Harrisonburg.

A private committal service will be conducted at Woodbine
Cemetery earlier in the day.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening (Tuesday) at the Kyger & Trobaugh Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. Friends may also call on the family at the Page Sencindiver home, 465 N. Dogwood Dr., Harrisonburg.

Memorial donations may be made to First Church of the Brethren Building Fund, 315 South Dogwood Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 228101.
