Influenza Fatal to Attorney's Mother
Mrs. Mary E. Bell, 69, Resident of City for 16 Years, Dies After Week's Time
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Bell, 69 years old and a resident of Tulsa for the last 16 years, died at the family home, 46 South Lowell avenue, Monday.
Her death was the result of influenza, contracted a week ago. She was the mother of Bailey Bell, Tulsa attorney and former member of the state legislature.
The son, in Oklahoma City, was notified immediately and was expected to arrive in Tulsa early Tuesday morning. Two other sons and the husband, all of the home address, also survive her.
The body is held at the Mowbray Funeral home pending completion of arrangements.
