According to Book (Descendants of Thomas Hale by RS Hale) pg 250 Jacob jr is son of Jacob Hale who married Mary March of Salisbury. Book can be accessed on-line to verify. Benjamin's lineage is (Jacob6, Jacob5, Richard4, John3, John2, Thomas1). Thomas arrived with wife Thomasine and children from Hertfordshire, England in 1637 to Boston then Newbury.
