She was born Oct. 7, 1966, in Cheyenne and had lived here most of her life.
Ms. Alcon was a receptionist for Bright Beginnings.
She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral. She was very active in the Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon, worked the "Challenge Rodeo" at Cheyenne Frontier Days and volunteered at Stride Learning Center.
Ms. Alcon is survived by her father, Felix W. Alcon of Cheyenne; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Christine Alcon of Cheyenne, Elizabeth and Luis Cordova of Cheyenne and Barbara and Simon Majalca of Aurora, Colo.; one brother, Lawrence Alcon of Cheyenne; her boyfriend, Charles Sanchez; 18 nieces and nephews; and her dog, Sasha.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gabriel F. Estrada; her mother, Leonila A. Alcon; her grandmothers; three brothers; and one sister.
