Huldah's gravestone was uncovered in 2006 where it was under a few inches of sod; Shelton may have a buried marker nearby. The cemetery is in woeful condition, most markers are broken/illegible/inaccessible and there are many unmarked graves. It is extremely overgrown, some areas with bramble bushes you can't get through, but markers/parts of markers are visible within the bramble patch.
Shelton's brother, James Jackson/Jackson James Harris is buried in this cemetery with a military marker. There are unmarked graves on both sides of him.
Shelton was shown as the bondsman for his brother George Washington Harris' marriage in Dec 1836 in Lincoln Co, KY (next to Garrard County).
