HAYS - Elizabeth C. Dinkel, 96, died Aug. 22, 2009, at St. John's Health Care Center, Hays. She was born April 19, 1913, to John J. and Catherine Dreiling Dinkel.
Survivors include: caregivers, Bob and Lois Dreher, Hays; a sister-in-law, Henrietta Dinkel, St. John's Health Care Center, Hays; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, a sister, and two infant sisters.
Vigil 6:30 p.m. Monday at Cline's Mortuary of Hays. Funeral 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays. Visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria. Memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church, or St. Fidelis Cemetery.
