Wooster Daily Record - March 20, 1969: Claude Warren Totten, 84, of Bever St., died Wednesday morning at the Wayne County Hospital where he had been a patient several months. He was born on June 22, 1884, in Canaan Township, Wayne County, to James and Clara Egbert Totten.
He was a retired Plain Township farmer, and had lived his entire life in Wayne County.
He was a member of the Plain Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, Helen M. Ackerman Totten; a son; two daughters; brother, Guy V. Totten of Wooster, two sisters, Mrs. George Hawk of Wooster and Mrs. Alice Younker of Creston; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A sister and brother died previously.
Services will be Friday at McComas Funeral Home with Rev. Albert Henry, chaplain of the Wayne County Home officiating.
