We all know Lee Callaway Jr as our "Uncle Brownie". He was quite a musician in his younger days while he was in the Army Air-Corps stationed at Bolling AFB in Washington DC. Some of his band mates were a young "Jimmy Dean" (the future sausage guy), Dub Howington and fiddle player Scotty Stoneman.
