NATHANIEL ARTHUR GILLHAM
Nathaniel Arthur Gillham, son of Isaac and Nancy Gillham, was born February 14, 1871, in Lucas county, Iowa, and passed away October 22, 1945, at his home in Chariton, Iowa, at the age of 74 years, 8 months and seven days.
He was united in marriage to Rachel Henrietta Bates on July 22, 1897. To this union three children were born. One son, Stanford Gillham, of Chariton, Iowa, and two daughters, Leila Angeloff, of Vancouver, Washington, and Cecile Glass, of Des Moines, Iowa. There are also ten grandchildren.
His parents and seven sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
Besides his wife and children, he is survived by one sister, Maude Walthall, of Promise City, Iowa, and three brothers, Jesse and Ira Gillham, of Chicago, Ill., and Alzia Gillham, of Chariton, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services, in charge of the Rev. E. F. Partridge, were held Friday at the Miley funeral home. Burial was in the Oxford cemetery
