Requiem mass was held Tuesday morning at the Sacred Heart Church for Mrs. Stella Nichols, 37, wife of Atlas Nichols of Hayti, who died Sunday, July 7, at her home.
The Rev. Father P.J. Doyle conducted the service at 9 o'clock and the Rev. Mr. Winkleman, C.M., played the organ and sang the responses. Surviving Mrs. Nichols are her husband, three children, a sister and her mother, Mrs. Vance, of Indianapolis, Ind. Interment was in the Hayti cemetery.
