Edna L. Mihalisko, 70, of Boise, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 1994, in a Boise hospital of natural causes.
Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. this evening at the Cloverdale Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. John W. Koelsch presiding. Burial will follow in the Meridian Cemetery.
Edna was born Oct. 9, 1923, a daughter of Victor and May Rhoades. She met Stephan Mihalisko during World War II, and they were married Dec. 2, 1942. After the war was over, they made their home in Boise.
She was a longtime member of Eagles Lodge #115. She enjoyed being a member of the lodge's drill team, camping in the mountains, crocheting, and serving people.
Edna was a devoted mother and a proud grandmother. She enjoyed the time spent with her granddaughter, and family and friends.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Christine Mihalisko of Boise; a granddaughter, Megan Lynn Mihalisko of Boise; three sisters, Dorothy Dopieralski of Boise, Inez Reitan of Portland, Ore., and Betty Wooldridge of Lake Bay, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sister and two half brothers.
