Lucinda M. Parton was born in Missouri 4 Nov 1827. She married John Martin Johnson 13 Jan 1848 in Lancaster, Schuyler County, Missouri. The family moved to Davis County, Iowa before settling in Mercer County, Missouri. The couple had the following children: Zachary Taylor (11 Feb 1849-13 Oct 1928); John William (1850-1939); James O. (Jan 1857-?); Samuel Eli (Nov 1863-1933); Sanora (spelling might not be correct) (ca 1859); Noah (ca 1860); Mary Ellen (Ca 1862-?); Missouri Price (Johnson) Chapham) (10 Aug 1863-30 Apr 1947); Lucinda D. (ca 1864-?); Jefferson Jackson (1866-1939); Sylvester (1869-1939); and Charles Martin (6 Jun 1875-1947). Lucinda died in Mercer County 2 Oct 1910.
