Rosa Anna was born to parents Sarah Jane(Moore)(Rogers) and Richmond Oliver Bennett in Trinity County, Texas. Her brothers and sisters are as follows: Martha Jane, McCager Y, Mary Melissie, Anna Delilah, Nemmie, John Hamlin, Henrietta and Richmond Floyd. She married George Washington Kennedy and they had 12 children. Rosa Anna was known for her many acts of kindness and caring for family and neighbors.

Funeral Services For Mrs. Rosa A. Kennedy August 20
Mrs. Rosa A. Kennedy, wife of the late George W. Kennedy, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 1971, Memorial Hospital, Lufkin, Texas.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 20, 1971, at 10:00 A.M. at the Oaklawn Baptist Church with the Rev. A. B. Armstrong and Rev. T. C. Jones officiating, interment followed in the Bennett Cemetery.
Mrs. Kennedy was a resident of Trinity County most of her life, the last few years she had resided in Seabrook, Texas, and was a member of the Oaklawn Baptist Church.
Surviving are 5 sons and 4 daughters as well as 45 grandchildren, 123 great-grandchildren and 39 great-great-grandchildren.
