Susan Snyder Brown Dies Saturday
Mrs. Susan A. Snyder Brown, 80, wife of Joseph Brown, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Foster, on the Five Acre Tracts.
The body was removed to the Cloyd mortuary, from where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown was born March 25, 1868, in Garfield, Ark., and spent most of her life in that state. She was married to Samuel H. Snyder Aug. 5, 1888, in Garfield. He preceded her in death in Arkansas.
She lived in Arkansas until 1941 when she came to Livingston to make her home. She was married to Joseph Brown in 1942.
Surviving are her husband; six daughters, Mrs. Foster of Livingston and Mrs. Raymond Bray, Mrs. George Hedrick, Mrs. Will Hauseman, Mrs. Owen Mitchell and Eva Snyder of Arkansas; two sons, Frank Snyder and Everett Snyder of Arkansas; 25 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services Held Today for Mrs. Susan Brown
Funeral services for Mrs. Susan A. Snyder Brown, 80, were conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the Cloyd chapel.
The Rev. Lewis E. Magsig, pastor of Grace Evangelical United Brethren church, was the officiating clergyman. Music was provided by Mrs. L. E. Magsig, Clarence Terpening and Mrs. Noble Wendland.
Interment was in Mountain View cemetery. Pallbearers were Elmer Williams, Roy Bickle, Clarence Terpening Jack Herries, Howard Strong and Homer Douglas.
Mrs. Brown died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Foster, on the Five Acre Tracts. A native of Garfield, Ark., she spent most of her life in her native state. She came to Livingston in 1941 and had resided here since that time.
