Mrs Margaret Christman, widow of Reuben Christman, passed away at the home of her son, Frederick, on West Main street, at 8 p. m., Tuesday. Mrs. Christman was born in Union county, on December 9, 1825. She was the mother of 12 children of whom eight survive her: Mrs. Susan Kemp, of Niles, O.: Mrs. Elizabeth Diefenderfer, of Meadville Mrs. Sarah Neimeyer, of Hastings, Neb.: Mrs. Milton Ash, of West Main street, William, of Erie; Franklin, of Clarksville street; Frederick, of West Main street; Charles of Conneaut, Ohio. She leaves 36 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She also leaves to mourn her last two sisters, Mrs Rebecca Hall and Miss Lizzie Hasenplug. She was a faithful member of the Lutheran church.
The funeral will be held at the residence of her son, Frederick, on Thursday at 2 p. m. The interment will be in Good Hope cemetery.
