I have purposely left her name as Mary Josephine Robinson as her maiden name. Her marriages [3] are annotated below. Any request for name change will not be considered.

Mary Josephine Robinson was b. 8 April 1862 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia on what is now known as Smith Station Road, just east of Massaponax Baptist Church, the oldest child of Joseph Benjamin Robinson and Mary Caroline Fugate.

Mary, at age 22, married ---
(1) John Taylor, b. abt 1861 and son of James and Jane Taylor,of Stafford, Virginia on 31 December 1884. Mary and John had 3 children -
John E., and twin daughters - Annie B. Taylor b/d: 1885; and Rosa Lee Taylor.
[Death of John Taylor is unknown]
On 6 Dec 1888, in Spotsylvania County, Virginia WIDOWED Mary Robinson Taylor married
2) Jacob Smith, b. abt 1861, son of George and Sallie Smith of Caroline County. Mary and Jacob had 8 children -
(1) Bennie, b. abt 1889;
(2) Mary, b. 1890;
(3) Edward, b. 1892;
(4) William, b. 1894;
(5) Kate, b. 1896;
(6) George, b. 1899;
(7) Albert, b. 1902, and
(8) Catherine 'Rena', b. 1903. [Mama]

The death of Jacob is uncertain; however, indications are that Jacob died before the 1910 census.

Jacob is buried in the cemetery - believed to be at the head of Mary's grave site according to my Mother, 'Rena'.
