Army, later promoted major, was desperately wounded at Boonsboro, Md.; he was twice sheriff of Campbell, and state senator; his dau. Mattie, m. R. Hunter Palmer, member of the Legislature, who lived at Vineland on Molley's creek; Nancy A., m. Dr. Geo. W. Clement, Jr., and moved to Patrick county.
Two other daughters, Juliett E Clement (b. 29 Jan 1858) and Ina Mary Clement (b. 27 Sep 1868) are also probably buried in this cemetery. "Virginia, Deaths and Burials, 1853-1912" per Charles Klingel
