18 April 1919, pages 1 & 5 (excerpts):

Mrs. Charles Kinkead passed away at her home at Ruby Monday afternoon, April 14, 1919, after a long illness. She has been a long sufferer of asthma, and three weeks ago contracted the flu, which left her very weak. The end was very peaceful as she went to sleep in Jesus. She was a very lovable mother and wife, and a good Christian woman, and will be greatly missed by all sorrowing friends. She was laid to rest beside her mother and father at Bill creek, in Ruby valley. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. O. Wise, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church.

She survived by her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Lois Williams of Butte, Lillian and Isabelle Kinkead of Ruby and George Kinkead of Baker, Ore.
