Services for Estel Putman, 80, of 309 E. Park St., Emmett, Ida., who died Tues., April 27, 1971, at a Boise, Ida. hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Robison Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian, Ida.

The Rev. Lyle Bramblet of the Whitney Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be at the Kuna Cemetery.

He was born June 1, 1890, at Phillipsburg, Kansas. He came to Kuna, Ida. in 1911, moved to the Wilder area in 1934 and then moved back to Kuna in 1943. He farmed and worked for the Board of Control for about 23 years.He moved to Emmett in 1968. He married Ann Zola Bringle on Dec. 28, 1922, at Nampa. She died Oct. 29, 1954. He married Mabel Lyonsmith on June 16, 1961, at Boise. He was a veteran of World War I.

He was a member of the Kuna Baptist Church and the World War I Barracks at Emmett.

Survivors include his wife, of Emmett; two sons, Ira Putman, of Kardena Air Force Base in Okinawa and Earl Putman, of Meridian; a daughter, Alice Irene Eichelberger, of Kuna; 13 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will include David, Dennis and Gene Putman, Clinton and David Eichelberger and Larry Tuckness.
