Services for Lula B. Jerome, 79, of Kuna, who died early Sunday morning at a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Robison Chapel of the Chimes by the Rev. Walter E. Wilson. Interment will follow at the Kuna Cemetery.

Born June 23, 1887, in Phillipsburg, Kan., she was married to Samuel Jerome on Aug. 23, 1908, in Vona, Colo. They came to Kuna in 1912 from Colorado. Mrs. Jerome taught school in Kansas, Colorado and the old Columbia School at Kuna. She was a charter member of the Kuna Baptist Church and later attended the Assembly of God Church. She also worked in the community Women's Christian Temperance Union.

Surviving are three sons, Ermil Jerome of Kuna, who is master of the Idaho State Grange, and Mark and Paul Jerome, both of Meridian; four daughters, Mrs. Pauline Jones La Mirada, Calif., Mrs. Mildred Mumford of Kuna, Mrs. Ester Tuckness of Meridian and Mrs. Ruth Peterman of Caldwell; a brother, Estel Putman of Eagle; 22 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be Horace Fuhriman, Walter Kern, Jesse Wilson, Leon Shrum, W.F. Burns and J.L. Mumford. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Mathews, George King, Bert Hale, Jesse Dobbs, Leon Jerome and Doyle Arnold.
