A 29-year resident of Borger, Mr. Haydon was a retired employee of Southwestern Public Service Company. He was a native of Kress.
Mr. Haydon was a veteran of World War II, serving in the army.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; two sons, Doug L. Haydon of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Robert Brown of Borger; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Fraker of Santa Maria, Calif.; a brother, Bob of Plainview; two sisters, Mrs. Chrystelle Gibson and Mrs. Mable Williams, both of Plainview; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Herman Topper, Bert Millard, Dennis Hood, C.L. Storey, Sammy Mercer and C.E. Geary.

Services for Mr. John S. "Ike" Haydon, 68, of 211 East Coolidge, were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ed Brown & Sons Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of the Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
