Robert Shultz was born in Boone county, Ind., Dec. 15, 1857, and died Feb. 5, 1932 at Pierson, age 74 years, 1 month and 21 days. He came to Illinois at the age of 4 and lived here every since. He was a chartered member of the Pierson Christian church.
He was united in marriage Jan. 7, 1883 to Sarah Hook and to this union 4 children were born, Mrs. Osie Johnson and Mrs. Bertie Clark, Indianapolis; Mrs. Golda Fund, Bement and Mrs. Katye Wierman who precededhim in death April 13, 1919. His wife also survives him.
The funeral was held at the Pierson Christian church, Feb. 7, and burial was in Mackville cemetery.
