Funeral services were held for Alley Albert Phillips last Friday, August 8, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Stewart officiating. Interment was in East Side Cemetery with Hawkins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Phillips was married to Sarah Beatrice Holder August 5, 1906 in Bridgeport.
Survivors include his wife, two brothers, Jim Phillips of Bridgeport and Ben Phillips of Weatherford.
Pallbearers were Jim Perry, E. J. Shanks, Junior Bradley, Floyd Bradley, Otis Meeks and Troy Haney.
