ASOTIN (Special to Herald)
Mrs. Kathryn G. Hanchett, 64, resident of Asotin died at her home Thursday evening Sept. 19, at 7 o'clock after an illness of several months.
Mrs. Hanchett was born in Sweden and had lived in Asotin for 20 years coming from Kalispell, Mont., Her husband died in 1944.
Survivors include two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Wm. Jones Jr., Clarkston, Mrs. Betty Bailey and Hale Hanchett both of Asotin and Ross Hanchett, Snohomish.
Funeral services were conducted at H.R. Merchant Asotin chapel Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. G. E. Pederson officiating. Mrs. Lydia Baldwin Mrs. Charles McCready sang hymns with Miss Nan Fryzell at the organ. Pallbearers were Riley Worley, Lewis Baird, Pearl Hazeltine, Harold Yochum, Wayne Tannahill, and Nils P.
