She was born April 29, 1902, in Hamilton County. She married James Barner. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include six sons, David, Roy and Harold, all of Odessa, James and Everett, both of Post, and Pete of Canyon; two daughters, Jackie Voglino and Jessie Wickliffe, both of Odessa; two sisters, Norra Massingill of Hamilton and Nannie Alexander of Colorado; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and 12 stepgreat-grandchildren.
