Mrs. Elda Marie Hamm, 87, formerly of 424 Cherry Ave., died Wednesday, July 8,1998, at Bon Secours-Holy Family Hospital.
She was born Dec. 28,1910, in Duncansville,the daughter of the late Lloyd and Lizzie (Law) McCready. She married Franklin C. Hamm. He died May 22,1983.
She attended Martinsburg High School.
Surviving are three daughters, Jean Taneyhill of Duncansville, Ruth Zitsch of Juniata and Betty Johnson of Pinecroft; a son, Richard of Huntingdon; a brother, Homer E. of Duncansville; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg.
HAMM — Services for Elda M. Hamm will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sorge Funeral Home by the Rev. Elaine Shafer-Stroud. Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
