Funeral services for Mary H. Walker, 78, of Leesville, LA were held Monday, March 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Pentecostal Church in Leesville, Revs. John Burns, M.C. Green, Dale Mortenson, and Mark Christian officiated. Burial followed in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville, LA. Mary, the daughter of Floyd Jefferson and Nora Mae Weldon Hardcastle was born on September 8, 1931, in Florien, LA. She passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Walker, son James Daniel "Danny" Walker, Jr., daughter Judi Walker Dekarskey, parents Floyd & Nora Hardcastle, brother Jarvis Hardcastle, and sisters, Betty Prewitt & Katherine Hodnett.
She is survived by daughters, Dianne Page of Leesville, LA & Christie & husband, Steven Bishop of Leesville, LA brother James Paul, wife Molly Hardcastle of Conroe, TX, sisters, JoElla & husband, Bill Berger of Canton, Ohio & Pat & husband, Troy "Red" Nolen of Leesville, LA, nine grandchildren Holley Pechota O'Donnell, James Lewis "Jim" Pechota, Ami Denee' Green, Brandon Page, Merissa Walker, Melissa Allen, Krista Corbitt, Jamie Bishop and Christopher Bishop and seven great grandchildren, Lauren Pechota O'Donnell, Austin Pechota, Meghann Pechota, Mason Green, Faith Green, Madison Page, and Jax Daniel Allen.
