Elizabeth Browiak of Spokane, born in Oregon and reared in Ritzville, passed away Tuesday at Spokane Valley Hospital. She was 61. She graduated from Ritzville High School and from WSU. She taught in Odessa for a time and at Dryden, Wapato and Waitsburg before moving to Spokane during the 1950s. Miss Browiak was a girls counselor at Central High Valley High School for more than 20 years and reitred in 1979. She is survived by a sister, Julia Carver of Spokane. Graveside services were held Wednes afternoon at the Ritzville Memorial cemetery.
