A. H. Browiak Funeral Held Here Saturday
Funeral services were held Saturday for Arthur H. Browiak of Spokane. He died in a Spokane hospital March 31 at the age of 78.
Browiak was born May 23, 1886, in South Wanatah, Ind. He was married in Ritzville December 13, 1916, to Evangeline Carlson who preceded him in death May 6, 1964.
The Browiaks resided here for 50 years when he was a painting contractor.
They moved to Spokane in 1957.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Julia Carver of Spokane Valley and Miss Elizabeth Browiak at the home, east 918 37th, Spokane. A sister, Grace Browiak of Valparaiso, Ind., and a brother, Hans Browiak of Lakeland, Fla., also survive.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Paul E. Hamlin of Manito Methodist church at the Danekas Funeral chapel.
Burial was in the Ritzville Memorial cemetery.
Browiak was a member of Manito Methodist church and of the Manito Lions club.
