ALEXANDRIA — Susie C. "Sue" (Lisby) Ault, 75, Alexandria, died Aug. 10, 2009, at Community Hospital North, Indianapolis, after a brief illness.

She was born Feb. 1, 1934, in Indianapolis, and resided in Alexandria.

She lived in Madison County most of her life and graduated from Anderson High School in 1952. Sue retired from Container Corporation after more than 20 years and worked several years at Recreation Equipment. Sue also worked in Anderson and Muncie at Damon's part-time.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hilda (Mears) and Conrad Lisby; husband, Omer Lee Ault whom she married on Oct. 18, 1969; and a brother, Gene Lisby.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, South Chapel, Anderson, and one hour prior to the service.

Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the South Chapel, Anderson, with Pastor Donna Goings officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Humane Society.
