He was a graduate of St. Xavier High School in Louisville and had a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Louisville Speed Scientific School. Surviving are his wife, Mary Frances Kaltenbacher; three sons, William S. & Robert Michael Kaltenbacher, both of Finksburg, MD and Phillip Edward Kaltenbacher of New Albany, IN; a sister, Margaret Fink of Coatestown, PA and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted this morning at 10 at Grove Hill Cemetery. Father Chester Bowling will officiate. Shannon Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
