K. Arvin writes, ca2000, "The gravestone for John and Rebecca Miller at Shiffler Cemetery is large, nearly ten feet tall." His transcription of the epitaph:

Weep not my friends and children dear,
We are not dead but sleeping here.
We belong to Jesus he alone,
Loved us best and took us home.
