One of four children to survive to adulthood of Thomas F. and Catherine (Furlong) Gentleman. Married James D. Reed on July 22, 1908 in Omaha, NE. She was past President of the Christ Child Society and past president of the Children of Mary. Mrs. Reed was one of the first women in Omaha, NE to learn to drive an automobile. She was a sister of Funeral Director John A. Gentleman.
