SLAVEN, HUBERT – "Hubert Slaven Killed Self Here Sunday – Jealousy Over Girl Given for Reason for Shooting", HUBERT SLAVEN, aged 18 and son of ED SLAVEN of near Zenith on the O. & W. Railroad, killed himself here last Sunday at the home of ALTON REED, by shooting himself in the head with a Luger pistol. His girl friend and two other girls were in the room at the time of the killing. Jealousy was given as the motive. Coroner B. M.
